These aerial images are taken from the original 6 cm x 6 cm (2 1/4" x 2 1/4 ") negatives and were taken between 1959 and 1963. The date of each negative is indicated when known. The original negative title has been kept for research purposes and may not explain all of the details shown in the image.

Many of the negatives show increasing signs of decay in/on the plastic base due to bad processing and storage plus the type of plastic it is made of -- in time this will eventually destroy them. Digitising these negatives has saved the images.

The negatives were originally in the ownership of Ken McLeod who was head of the Process Department of the Guernsey Press at that time. It is believed some of them were used in that publication.
