These aerial images are taken from the original 6 cm x 6 cm (2 1/4" x 2 1/4 ") negatives and were taken between 1959 and 1963. The date of each negative is indicated when known. The original negative title has been kept for research purposes.

Many of the negatives show increasing signs of decay in/on the plastic base due to bad processing and/or storage which will eventually destroy them.

Once all of them have been scanned and digitally repaired, they will be placed in an airtight package and stored in a deep freeze which will slow the decay process down.

The negatives were originally in the ownership of Ken McLeod who was head of the Process Department of the Guernsey Press at that time. It is believed some of them were used in that publication.
