Mirus battery mounting
Mirus battery mounting

This 1942 photo at the Weighbridge St Peter Port shows the mounting for the Mirus battery guns being transported to the Frie Baton.

Note the vehicles are on the right hand side of the road - all traffic was changed from the left when the occupying forces arrived.

The route taken would have been up St Julians Avenue.

Mirus battery mounting
