This picture was taken in Guernsey in front of the Town Church after war was declared by Great Britain on Germany (Sunday September 3rd 1939). The boy standing against the church railings appears to be reading a paper called 'The Sports Star', with a news heading of 'PARLIAMENT SUMMONED FOR SUNDAY MEETING'. Can anybody be recognised in this picture?
