Mrs Margaret Anne Neve was celebrated in Guernsey as she reached the grand old age of 110 and lived through 3 Centuries.

She was born on 18th May 1792 and died on 4th April 1903.

This photo shows her house in Rouge Huis; it had surrounding fields of about five acres - most of the land was sold after her death to build houses on, hence the Rouge huis we know today. In fact the farmhouse was also knocked down and a new house was built on the site..

This picture was taken in 1890 and shows people in front of the farmhouse. It is possible that Mrs Neve is in the picture.
